Community Envolvement
As part of the charter of The Clay County Cruisers Car Club we are committed to the Clay County and the cities included in our area. In this challenging economy we at The Clay County Cruisers Car Club feel fortunate to be in a position to give back to citizens and organizations in our area.
In the face of budget cuts our area Teen REACH faced extinction in 2011. With a donation of $500.00 from the Clay County Cruisers Car Club helped the Clay County Community Health Foundation to raise over $16,000.00 to keep the Teen REACH program open through the summer of 2011. The Illinois Department of Human Services has announced continuing funding through the fall of 2011. Congratulations Teen REACH
Byran Harrington, (left), of Louisville, Ill., is the 2011 winner of the Ken and Ethel Stark Memorial Scholarship. Byran will be going to Lake Land College in the fall to study Civil Engineering and we hope the $500.00 prize will be useful in his continued education. Good Luck Bryan!
